Nine Irish Brothers Traditional Irish Pub

Craic

What's the Craic?

People in Ireland have crack all the time. Especially in pubs, and they're not doing anything illegal. That's because they're having craic (pronounced "crack"), Irish for fun. In Ireland, it's not uncommon to hear phrases such as mighty craic to be had altogether, great craic, and bhi craic agus ceol againn (we had craic and music).

You'll find plenty craic at Nine Irish Brothers--seven days a week. We've got world-class live music, special music events, and session bands on a regular basis.  In fact, in February of 2010, readers of the Purdue Exponent, Purdue University's student newspaper, voted Nine Irish Brothers the Best Music Venue.  We also show the best in American and Irish sports on the television, and, of course, the patio is open for summertime enjoyment. For a list of upcoming entertainments and events, please visit our events calendar. In the meantime, feel free to browse our picture gallery to see what kind of craic our friends and families have been having!

Do you have some great pictures or video from a night out at the NIB? Send them our way! Please send the pictures to contact (at) nineirishbrothers (dot) com (with caption, if you'd like) and we'll put them up on the site ASAP! Or, if you're on facebook, join our group and upload there! Show us your craic!
