What a Musical Ride!

Join us on Saturday, February 13 as we welcome back a crowd favorite, Uncle Hamish and the Hooligans.  This five-member Celtic rock band is from the mountains of Western North Carolina, but their origins stem from a desire to escape the same-ol-same-old; with an an overwhelming need to be part of a band that was truly different and special, they've developed one of the most unique Celtic rock sounds out there. Influenced by such ground-breaking bands as Seven Nations and Enter the Haggis, they set out to play Celtic music that also includes their personal tastes. In their music, you're likely hear influences that range from Queen to Boston to Flogging Molly and all points in between. For instance, here's a sampling of what you might hear:

  • Follow Me Up to Carlow
  • The Ceildh
  • Fields of Athenry
  • Carry on My Wayward Son
  • Salty Dog
  • Tie Your Mother Down

Plus many original tunes.  Definitely mark the date for Saturday, February 13 at 8 PM.  If you can't make it, don't worry--they play across town on Friday!
